Dozens of black women were told their newborns had died after childbirth, but it turns out they may have been stolen.
This is a travesty. These families were robbed and those involved need to be brought to justice.

Hearing something Ilike this makes me think that this could have happened all over the country.
Something similar actually happened to my birth mother. She gave me up for adoption at birth and it was an open adoption so she was in contact with my adoptive parents for about a year then the aft told her I had died and there was no way to contact me anymore. So she thought I was dead for 23 years till last November. Turns out the whole agency has been doing black market adoptions for years and the state had them investigated and shut down. Adoption industry is not safe and very easy to steal kids.
this isn’t new and it hasn’t stopped. A lot of children’s get sold into slave trade via adoption agencies or passed around to different families in different states off the records. It’s disgusting. My sister was passed to 6 different families via craigslist from Ohio to Washington and NO ONE stopped anything cuz the government doesn’t check shit.
